RoleSift uses cookies, browser storage, and extension storage where needed to operate accounts, keep users signed in, remember settings, run checkout, and protect the service. This page should be reviewed before adding analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
Extension settings
The Chrome extension may use Chrome extension storage for backend URL settings, connection state, scan preferences, and local UI state. These settings help the extension connect to the RoleSift backend and show account status.
Payments
Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies during checkout, fraud prevention, billing, and subscription management. Stripe's own notices apply when you use Stripe-hosted checkout or billing pages.
Analytics and advertising
RoleSift does not currently claim to use advertising cookies. If analytics, conversion tracking, or advertising cookies are added later, this page should be updated and any required consent controls should be added first.
Managing storage
You can clear browser cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing storage may sign you out or reset extension/site preferences. You can remove the Chrome extension from Chrome's extension settings.
